If you travel to Bratislava with GPS device like Garmin or TomTom, you may consider to use it also in conjunction with our guided tour. You can download the GPS co-ordinates of our audio tour, import them to your map application and/or directly to your GPS device and follow its route while moving to the next audio point.

Unfortunately, it is not so easy as there is no universal format and each GPS application uses its own for the importing the data. For start, we decided to share the source file in .KML format which  is a format used by Google maps and Google Earth. The file is output from the Interactive map based on Google maps (including audio points and directions).

For conversion of KML to the file suitable for your GPS device, you can use some free converters such as GPSBabel or its online version GPS Visualizer (select Google Earth Markup Language as an input file, see screenshot)

Going forward, we will add other formats when we will have an opportunity to test them properly on the particular device.
